Roadtrip to Snowbird for the North Face Masters
Wouldnt you know it, the storm that we had been watching on the radar, and waiting patiently for turned up in Jackson right as we were driving out of the valley heading for Utah. Cant be too bitter I guess, Utah has just recieved a ton of snow and there is more on the way. I love a road trip, especially in my trusty beast of a van fondly named Charlene...the Chartruse coloured Dodge Grand Caravan.
I am in Snowbird for the first stop of the North Face Masters. Snowbird has recieved 20" in the last 48 hours, the competition venues should be filling up nicely. Tomorrow is the registration day, and a chance to go scope out the venues. I'm excited, feeling strong, and looking forward to the event! Weather permitting the event kicks off on Saturday...stay tuned.
