In 1995 I left the sun and the surf of South Australia to travel overseas, this is when I saw the snow for the first time. Since then I have chased the snow around the globe for 25 winters.
I have been fortunate enough to have a job that allowed me to follow my dream by working as a Snowboard Instructor in Australia and the USA. Two years ago I returned to the USA on a different agenda, to ride for myself. It was that season that I competed in my first freeride event in Snowbird, Utah. I loved the whole experience, I found it so exciting to challenge the boundaries of my own snowboarding and to meet so many awesome people that shared the same passion. I have since been involved in competitions for the last 3 years in both the Northern and Southern Hemisphere.
My focus is Big Mountain/Freeride Snowboard events. I enjoy the thrill of freeriding and competing in challenging terrain. I feel that my experience and technical knowledge has given me a good foundation to build on in the future.
